Orangutans share 97% of their DNA with humans. Currently, it only lives on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Their habitat is threatened by the development of oil palm plantations to produce palm oil. Hoping for coexistence with humans, we have carefully designed a silhouette that is closer to the real thing.

This accessory is a part of ``PROJECT RED'', a project to protect endangered species by Christel Vie Ensemble, a general incorporated foundation founded by Christel Takigawa, and will be sold with profits excluding expenses from sales and R Jewels Japan. Together with the donation from the company, the money will be used to cover the costs of Borneo Conservation Trust Japan's local activities.
